Crafting a Tailored Proposal
We then created a bespoke proposal for Blue Lotus, incorporating:

- Technical Breakdown: Detailed the equipment to be used, file properties (resolution, metadata, etc.).
- Logistical Breakdown: Outlined the number of photos, shoot duration, costs, and timelines.
This proposal was followed by a meeting to discuss the details and a recce of the two office locations provided by Blue Lotus. Our team, accompanied by the gaffer team, conducted a technical recce to finalize the best spots for the shoot.
Pre-Shoot Preparation
To ensure a seamless shoot, we created a storyboard using approved stock images from Shutterstock.
This storyboard guided our mock photo session using employees as actors, helping us select the best locations and cast for each photograph. For certain photos requiring specific backgrounds, we planned to shoot against a chroma screen in our studio, enabling us to composite the desired backgrounds later.
Execution and Delivery
With meticulous planning, we completed the entire shoot of 54 photographs within an 8-hour shift:
- 10 AM: Began the shoot at the office location.
- 3 PM: Shifted to the chroma studio for portfolio shots.
- 5 PM: Concluded the shoot.
We used high-resolution 6K cameras, recording directly onto SSD drives with data speeds of 1000 MB/sec, ensuring swift and efficient data handling. The final photos, after retouching and color grading, were delivered to the client within 5 days. We incorporated the client’s feedback promptly, resulting in stunning photographs now showcased on Blue Lotus’s newly redesigned website.
